Tom Clancey is a guitarist, vocalist, and performing musician based in Congers, NY, with 20 years of experience on stages from Brooklyn Bowl to the Ridgefield Playhouse — and thousands of private events, weddings, breweries, and venues in between.

His sound draws from a deep well of American music: the Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Motown, New Orleans R&B, Frank Sinatra, and beyond. Tom reads rooms instinctively — whether that’s keeping a cocktail hour relaxed or turning a private party into a full dance floor.

In addition to performing solo, Tom leads Tom Clancey’s Rainbow 3 (an organ/guitar trio and party band) and is guitarist and vocalist for Dead Meat, one of the Northeast’s most celebrated Grateful Dead tribute acts, which has performed at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre, The Met (Pawtucket), The Cutting Room (NYC), and venues across the region.

Tom is also a music educator at The Rock Shop in Nyack and Hook Mountain Studio in Congers, and a recording engineer. His approach to every engagement — whether performing, teaching, or producing — is the same: thorough preparation, personal attention, and a genuine love of music.
